What stood out to me as important is the actual execution of my pitch. The first pitch I did I felt like I was not as clear with my language as I should have been. The feedback stated that my pitch was concise, which proved to be helpful. Also the feedback on my quality was helpful because I was able to fix the issues and do a better job of executing the pitch. Based on the feedback, I included a little more fluff to my pitch, as well as improving the way I spoke.
Hi Carter,
ReplyDeleteI didn't see your first elevator pitch so I can't really compare your improvements vs. the original. I feel you did a good job of setting up your product with your added "fluff"; however, it was a bit difficult to understand you at times. Your idea is pretty cool, so I'd like to learn even more information from your pitch! Keep up the good work!

Carter, your idea sounded interesting and like it could work very well. It was a little difficult to hear you in some parts but overall you have a good presentation of your idea. Having a service that takes elderly people to the places they need to go could really be a good idea.

ReplyDeleteI agree that it was a little hard to hear. In future situations, it's important to enunciate and speak louder than you think you should. I know I personally have hearing problems, so it was a little hard to follow. With what I could follow, it's a great idea and I like that you're fleshing it out little by little. Hearing you give examples was great and an easy way to get your future clients sympathizing with you and wanting to get onboard.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job in taking the advice from the first and improving on the second. These small tips will help you develop your idea and the way you pitch it. These are important skills that will help you throughout your career, especially if you are interested in entrepreneurship! Great job!
ReplyDeleteCarter,
ReplyDeleteOverall, your elevator pitch was very good. I did not see your first one so I do not know the improvements that you made. The context of your pitch was great as it got your idea across very easily. One thing that I would say is that you should try to work in a little hand gestures to get your point across better and be a little more influential. Other than that, it was great.
